The lead lining has been replaced by a paper lining for modern use also leaving the two inner covers missing.
There are several age cracks the largest coming to the back right joint but still all seems solid. The top has bowed slightly leaving the front sticking up when it is closed.

Condition: as photographed. Top bowed leaving it sticking out several age cracks to the veneer and one to the back right corner some scratches wear etc., has been relined with the two inner covers missing.
