This is a lovely original root snuff box made in Scotland circa 1860 with Mauchline ware type decoration of a huntsman on horseback and a dog being a large example probably originally used as a table snuff after a hunt.
Size: 5.5" X 4.5"
Hinge is loose where the tacks have come out so feels loose when opened.
Condition: as photoed (hinge may have been repaired in the past)
