There is a copy of a photo I got online that is purportedly of Wellesley Browne.
Please see the photos of the article of the action taken to be awarded the DCM where Wellesley Browne was part of the D Company bombing raid that ran across no mans land to raid a trench and when one of his comrades god injured dragged him out crawling about 100 yards found a stretcher then dragged him into the our lines.
