WW1 TRIO WAR VICTORY MEDAL STAR ASSISTANT STEWARD / SHIPS COOK B BROWN KIA? MERCANTILE FLEET AUXILIARY

I have found it quite hard to research the only possibility I found was a steward who was called Benjamin Brown and killed in action aboard the S.S.Malvina but as the medals are to ships cook and assistant steward I am not sure if this would match so please research to tell for yourself to see.

The medals all etched B.BROWN ASST STD M.F.A. (Star to SH.CK).
