Antique 19th Century Brass Bound Kingwood Dressing Box. Probably by Wells & lambe. With Wells hinges and J. Bramah Lock.
fitted with 2 silver lidded glass jars (Thomas Diller, 1845), 4 White metal (not hallmarked) mounted bottles, Leather covered glass lined compartments, mother-of-pearl vanity tools, concealed leather-cased easel mirror and stationery compartment.
Measures approximately 31cm wide, 23cm deep, 13.5cm high
Condition: Please view photos carefully for condition. Key missing. Some wear with light splits and scratches to veneer. Chip to one bottle with smaller nibbles to corners and edges of remaining glass items. Wear and abrasions to leather, discolouration and wear to the velvet, mirror plate degraded, overall reasonable aesthetic condition given age
