Antique Sterling Silver Gilt Cuffed /Mounted Bakelite Handled Curling Tongs 1905

Sterling silver gilt cuffed set of folding curling tongs with bakelite handles complete with original green leather case with gilt initials MN to face.

Please note the only sterling silver is the small cuff to the top of the handles the rest looks to be gilded base metal.

Length closed: 14.6cm approximately

Case length: 15cm approximately

Please view photos carefully for condition. There looks to be a slight crack to the end on one handle the case is tight to close and there is general wear throughout etc.,
