Antique Early 20th C Asprey Brown Leather Gilt Design Letter Box / Stand Hinged

This is a lovely piece retailed by Asprey's in the early part of the 20th century made from brown leather with gilt decorations throughout, the top hinged opening to reveal four compartments.

Condition: as photos (two or three screws have pulled threw on the hinge but still strong rubbing and chipping throughout the corners and edges there is some staining scratches throughout some chips and the base lining has come away slightly to one side)
