Antique C1800 Solid Silver Mounted Mother Of Pearl Engraved Snuff Box 6.6cm A/F

This is a lovey solid silver mounted, steel lined and mother of pearl set snuff box. The mother of pearl finely engraved with scenes of the early regency era probably Circa 1780 - 1800. The top has two opening sections to the hinge centre. The inside / lining throughout appears to be steel or something similar. Unfortunately, there is some loss to the edges of the silver and cracking & small chips to the pearl but with a piece of this age you would expect some wear.

Unmarked but tested as as solid silver.

Mother of pearl has several large cracks / splits wear etc. Some loss to edges of silver also scratches knocks etc.
