Fine Antique Novelty Barrel Scent Bottle, Vinaigrette And Pill Box Combination By Sampson Mordan Ebony & White Metal

I have not tested the white metal to see if it’s silver or plate as I do not want to damage / mark it.

The wood looks to be the correct grain and colour to be ebony.

There is crack in the wood to the back as photoed.

This is a very rare and hard to find example made by Sampson Mordan London. It is I n the shape of a barrel with the wood part ebony an white metal mounts. Each end opens to reveal a vinaigrette to one end marked S Mordan London and the other end with a pill bot and a scent bottle to the centre.
