Fine Antique French 18ct Solid Yellow Gold Mounted Set With A Ring Of Diamonds A Large Cabochon Garnet and a smaller Cabochon Garnet Button Perfume / Scent Bottle

The underside of the top reads “Ravaut” probably being where it was Retailed.

The large Cabochon Garnet measures 17mm in diameter with some inclusions and seems to be a very dark colour until lit up when it becomes a strong red.

There is a row of small antique mine cut diamonds around the central stone probably set in silver or platinum each stone measuring approximately 1.4mm.

The gold marked with the French 18ct eagle mark and a lozenge mark with indistinct Marks Possibly S over T.

The button set with an Cabochon Garnet measuring approximately 4mm in diameter.

The edge is inscribed and enamelled with the original owners name Gertrude (some enamel now lost).

Some dents dings and scratches throughout the gold mount and some small chips & nicks to the glass etc.,

Condition: As photographed (some dents knocks and scratches in places on the gold section , Small chips / nicks around the base of the glass, scratches to glass, the diamonds are mine cut so will show this with shape, the inner glass liner doesn’t look to be complete a small section missing or possibly broken off the glass and general condition and it is inscribed with the former owners name etc.,)
