Fine Large Antique Bowls Trophy 1898 Retailed By Carrington Communion Goblet A/F

This is a high quality made trophy retailed by Carrington’s of regent street. The style of the Goblet / Trophy itself looks like it would have originally been used as a communion goblet. Was repurposed from its original use to be used as a bowls trophy for the “Challenge Cup Two Woods Competition” probably from 1949 until 2010. Unfortunately due to the years of heavy use there is some condition issues including repairs to the base of the silver the top is misshapen/ dented and a hole has been pierced in the cup. The base also has heavy wear scuffing loss etc.,

Dates and names also inscribed to pedestal etc.,

Base width: 12.5cm

Cup width: 13-13.5cm

Silver weight: 597g
